Application
Bore gauge sets are the most widely used measuring instruments for the internal measurement of cylindrical objects such as pipes and cylinders. Unlike transfer gauges (telescopic gauges, small bore gauges, beam gauges), the bore gauge does not require a second measurement, but a direct reading during measurement, ensuring accuracy. Furthermore, the bore gauge reaches a sufficient depth thanks to its long handle, overcoming the problem of the limited range of internal micrometers without compromising their accuracy. Certainly, the three-point inside micrometer can meet all your needs and be easy to handle, but it costs much more than bore gauges.
